Walking around my garden, gathering thoughts and ideas and being strongly influenced by my surroundings, the appearance of individual decaying forms of nature is the main inspiration behind my work.
The unique design and character of each piece created has been influenced by nature and decay, each one becoming diverse and capturing the imagination.
The use of enamel provides a sense of realism, not only in colour, but also in texture and feel, portraying the varied features within nature. The engaging and distinctive shapes have been hand crafted to create each particular piece, made specifically to be wearable on the body, relating individually to the concept of natural and organic forms.
